Angus Warwicker-Le Breton

Manager, Sport Performance & Development

Since finishing his post graduate in Strength and Conditioning at Cardiff Metropolitan University Angus has worked across a number of different sports at all levels.  These roles have included working with a number of different teams from Welsh Hockey to Bath Rugby as well as a number of individual athletes in athletics and Slopestyle Snowboarding. Each of these roles has presented their own unique challenges but they have all been hugely rewarding in their own way and will all be experiences Angus will cherish and try to develop from.

Since leaving Ireland Angus has loved working in performance sport and experiencing new cultures, but feels very at home since moving to New Zealand in 2019. He has always loved playing and watching all sports but his biggest passions outside of work would be playing golf and supporting Manchester United. 



Roy Haffner

Rehabilitation Strength & Conditioning Coach | Fitness Coach

​​​​​​​After finishing a Bachelor’s Degree in Sport and Exercise Science, Roy found himself wanting real experience working with people and expanding his knowledge. Originally from the South Island, Roy’s passion for performance, rehabilitation, and well-being brought him to Hawke’s bay.

Roy is a huge sports fan, mainly American Football and Rugby League which fuels his interest in Strength and Conditioning.

James Rennie

Sport Performance & Programmes Coach | Fitness Coach

While completing his double major in Sports and Exercise and Nutrition at Otago University James found his love for Strength and Conditioning while working with John McGlashan College 1st XV who won the South Island competition. 

After graduating James moved up to Hawke's Bay taking the associate Strength and Conditioning role at HBCFCT. 

Throughout his life, he has played a whole range of sports, but his favourite has always been cricket, which he has developed a slight obsession for.

Chloe Macaulay

Sport Performance & Programmes Coach | Fitness Coach

Chloe graduated from Waikato University after studying a Bachelor of Sport Health and Human 
Performance, majoring in Human Performance Science and Sport Development & Coaching. During her time there Chloe worked alongside the Premier Men's Rugby team where she gained a love for working with athletes.

A Hawke’s Bay Local who grew up surrounded by sport and exercise with most of her years spent playing netball. Chloe is devoted to aiding athletes along their path to becoming the best they can be. She has a passion for hand-crafting her strength and conditioning knowledge to fit the individual needs of every person she works alongside.

Anton Jacques 

Strength & Conditioning Coach | Fitness Coach​​​​​​​

While completing his Bachelor in Sport and Exercise, Majoring in Exercise Prescription at Massey University, Anton began gaining experience as an S&C Coach through internships with the Wellington Phoenix Academy and the Wellington Lions. This resulted in further work within Rugby, working with Old Boys University Rugby Club and Wellington Rugby.

With a desire to branch out into different sports, Anton completed another internship with High Performance Sport New Zealand where he was exposed to a range of sports and athletes. Originally from the Kapiti Coast, Anton relocated to Hawke's Bay to take on the Strength and Conditioning role here at HBCFCT. 

Having played various team sports growing up, Anton found that his passion was to work with athletes and help develop them to reach their true potential. Outside of work Anton enjoys fishing, watching rugby, rugby league, and the UFC.

Brandon Roberts 

Associate Strength & Conditioning Coach​​​​​​​

Brandon recently graduated from the University of Otago with a Bachelor of Science double majoring in Sport & Exercise Science and Psychology. During his time at university, Brandon worked with the Dunedin Phoenix Thunder Ice Hockey Team, Otago Development Basketball and in the university gym as a fitness and group fitness leader.

Brandon is a Hawke's Bay local who played a variety of sports during school. Currently, his favourite sport is squash and he is hoping to get more involved in endurance and adventure sports.
